SHORT NOTEBishop's Palace
The palace was started in 1531 by Monsignor Galeazzo Pietra, the first Vigevano bishop. It has been widened more than once in the course of centuries. In the the throne hall on the 10th of August 1848 the Salasco Armistice was signed; it put an end to the first period of the War for the Italian independence.
